Positions available in Moberly, MO:


ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE VICE PRESIDENT FOR FINANCE – Full-time position with excellent benefits. Must be detail oriented, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have the ability to maintain confidentiality. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required to create complex spreadsheets, documents, and databases. An Associate’s degree is preferred.

SECRETARY – in the Adult Education and Literacy office in Moberly (was at MACC-Kirksville Higher Education Center). Position requires organizational, clerical, and computer skills (MS Office), excellent interpersonal skills, ability to maintain confidentiality and to interact with diverse people. Part-time position, 28 hours per week.

GROUNDSKEEPER/MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – Experience preferred. Must be capable of operating mowers/grounds equipment, working outdoors and installing landscaping.  Must be able to lift 50 pounds and have a valid driver’s license. Full-time position with excellent benefits.

SECRETARY – in the Registrar’s office, full-time with excellent benefits. Associate degree preferred. Must be able to work with a high degree of accuracy in an integrated database system. Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office, strong customer service and organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.

CONTINUING EDUCATION COORDINATOR - Responsible for continuing education programs offered by the Entrepreneurship and Business Development Center.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Candidates must be able to work without close supervision, follow specific directions, demonstrate excellent communication verbally and in writing, and demonstrate a professional image and public relations/customer service skills.  Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required. Experience with additional computer software applications desired. Requires travel with some evening and weekend work.

ASSISTANT WOMEN'S BASKETBALL COACH/DORM SUPERVISOR - Duties include coaching, recruiting, academic monitoring/advising, and supervision of women's dorm (must reside in the dorm).  A Bachelor's degree is required, playing and coaching experience is preferred.  This is a full-time position (10 month contract) beginning August 1.

BUSINESS OFFICE SUPPORT/SECRETARY - full-time position with excellent benefits at the MACC Columbia Higher Education Center. Requires excellent communication, organization, bookkeeping, and clerical skills. Must be detail oriented and have strong computer, problem solving, and interpersonal skills. Position requires occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. Cashiering experience and associates degree preferred.

PART-TIME CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR - clinical instructor position available for Fundamentals and Mental Health in the Associate Degree Nursing Program in the Columbia, Missouri area. B.S.N. and 3 years of recent clinical experience and teaching experience preferred. Current undisciplined Missouri RN license required.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree with ability to obtain adult education teaching certificate. Prior teaching experience a plus. CUSTODIAN/MAINTENANCE - Experience preferred. Full-time afternoon/evening position at the MACC-Columbia Higher Education Center. Excellent benefits.

GRANT SPECIALIST – Part-time positions, 19 hours per week, at the MACC-Columbia Higher Education Center. Must have exceptional computer, interpersonal, and clerical skills for data entry, reporting and office management.

COORDINATOR OF PRACTICAL NURSING PROGRAM - Full-time position at the Advanced Technology Center in Mexico, Missouri, with excellent benefits. Qualifications: BSN, 3 years current clinical experience in adult nursing, current Missouri license as a Registered Nurse. Teaching experience preferred. Responsible for program supervision, instruction, and clinical rotations in a one-year PN Program. Applications accepted until position is filled.

Part-time College Instructors (Adjunct Faculty):


Availability of adjunct faculty positions is based on enrollment in courses offered at all MACC sites. Applicants will be added to our "pool" of adjunct faculty, with credentials kept on file for three years. A Master's degree is required for most subject areas, with 18 graduate hours in the subject area, and teaching experience is preferred. The Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 requires that employers retain Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification. All persons employed are required to furnish documents verifying identify (i.e. driver's license, state issued ID card) and employment eligibility (i.e. social security card or birth certificate). A passport will verify both identity and employment eligibility. MACC participates in eVerify and will provide the Social Security Administration (SSA) and, if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with information from each applicant's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.
