Professional Development Schedule

MACC intends to provide a quality, meaningful Professional Development program for all MACC employees. If you would like to see us offer any particular topic that would be relevant and valuable for you, please forward your suggestions to the Director of Human Resources. Professional development is very important for all employees to keep current in technology, legal issues, and other topics that help us do our jobs well and boost our morale. Every full-time employee is required to attend a minimum of 3 sessions each academic year. Please contact Human Resources at extension 11294 to register or as instructed below.

Lunch and Learn with INT

Come chat with the INT staff about what’s going on in Instructional Technology. Bring your questions and your lunch and Instructional Technology will provide answers as well as a yummy dessert!

Canvas - Using the Gradebook and Using Assignment Groups:

The Gradebook helps instructors easily input and distribute grades for students. Grades for each assignment can be calculated as points, percentages, complete or incomplete, pass or fail, GPA scale, and letter grades. Assignments can be organized into groups for weighting as well. Learn how to use assignment groups to allow additional organization in the gradebook. There will also be discussion on using Google Docs for assignment submissions and group collaborations. Presented by: Rita Wheeler
